  • Grant of $600 distributed to three leaders for AIARE Level 2 expenses
  • Presentation at Eckhart Roder Dinner of Use of Grant Funds
  • Twenty-three Leaders Certified or Returned to Active Status through Trip Leader Certification Coordinator, Tracie Sawade
  • Technical Trip Leader Process and Application Developed in conjunction with HAMS and BMS School Directors by Pat McKinley, TLS Director
  • Thirty-eight Technical Leaders Grandfathered by Specific Discipline
  • Two Trip Leader Schools Held; School Directors are DS&L members, Pat McKinley and Kevin Schaal
  • Three Avalanche Terrain Avoidance (ATA) seminars supported by DS&L Member as School Director, Brad Cotten
  • Skills requirement for “B” Classified Leaders Approved and Published
  • Investigation of 15 Incidents, Accidents, Complaints, Near Misses by Terry Ploski, former Safety Director, Nancy Stevenson, current Safety Director and Mark Wolf, Assistant Safety Director
  • SALT (Support Aid for Leader Training) Applications processed for 185 members/leaders, aspiring leaders.
  • Four Safety & Leader Newsletters distributed to approximately 300 leaders, senior instructors, Trip Leader School grads and posted on cmcdenver.org
