The Denver Group offers new member meetings for new and prospective members at the American Mountaineering Center in Golden. These meetings feature informative and interesting videos and briefings on hiking skills and trip policies, and are strongly recommended for all new members. Get started! If you’re not sure where to start, try an “A” hike. To find out when one is scheduled, check the “trip” category of the CMC Calendar. Select your Date Range , Type (hike), Classification (easy), the unlabeled box next to Classification (A), and Group (Denver).
If in doubt, contact the trip leader for guidance~ remember all of our Trip Leaders are volunteers.
